Three seriously injured in Clinton County wreck

GRAYSON, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a Clinton County wreck that seriously injured three people, including a four-year-old.

The Patrol says the wreck happened on 169 Highway, one mile north of Grayson, at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday. 30-year-old Crystal Kraus, of Smithville, was driving a 2002 Saturn when she steered across the center line to avoid a rear-end collision with another vehicle.

Instead, the Saturn collided with a 2006 Toyota Sequoia, driven by 49-year-old Taffi Dennis, of Trimble. Kraus, her four-year-old son, and Dennis, suffered serious injuries. All three were taken to separate hospitals.
